DECOREX, Lon­donõs long­est-run­ning in­te­rior-de­sign show, re­turns to Syon Park for four days next month (Septem­ber 18Ð21). This yearõs theme is Ôthe roots of de­signõ and the en­trance hall will be cu­rated by fur­ni­ture de­signer Tim Gosling and cel­e­brates Ôthe Her­itage of Chair Mak­ingõ.

As well as more than 400 ex­hibitors (look out for our guide in the Septem­ber 14 num­ber), the show has a busy sem­i­nar pro­gramme, in­clud­ing sev­eral events hosted by our new In­te­ri­ors Edi­tor, Giles Kime, and a va­ri­ety of oth­ers fea­tur­ing de­sign lu­mi­nar­ies such as Nicky Haslam, Nina Camp­bell, Ben Pen­treath and Suzy Hood­less.

For a restora­tive lunch with views over the Ca­pa­bil­ity Brown-de­signed park­land, head to the Decorex Syon Es­tate restau­rant in as­so­ci­a­tion with COUN­TRY LIFE. The show is open to the gen­eral pub­lic on Tues­day, Septem­ber 20 and tick­ets cost £30 (www.decorex.com)
