SIR—THE en­closed pho­to­graph may in­ter­est your read­ers. The birds are golden pheas­ants, four months old, that I have reared in my gar­den; they are un­usu­ally tame and feed from my hand with­out fear; they have the run of the gar­den and now roost in the fruit trees. S. F. Lougheed
