It's hypocritical for anyone who uses a car to protest about BP'S Arts sponsorship

Country Life Every Week - - Athena -

Activists have chosen Arts institutions as a focus for their campaigns because this is a sure way to win headlines. They don’t care at all about the financial problems that these organisations face. Since 2008, the money spent by central government on the Arts has declined by 30%. Without commercial sponsorship, our museums, galleries and performing-arts companies will be forced to reduce the scale of their activities dramatically, which would be a grievous loss to the country as a whole. Is that what the protestors want?
