HE winners of the annual British Wildlife Photographer of the Year awards were announced this week and the astounding results are on show in a travelling exhibition as well as in a lavish book from AA Publishing (£25, www.bwpawards.org). The exhibition of winning works starts at the Mall Galleries, London SW1 (until September 10, www.mallgalleries.org.uk) before touring to Astley Hall, Lancashire (September 16–November 5); Nature in Art, Gloucestershire (September 15–November 15); Aberystwyth, Ceredigion (November 12–January 14, 2017); Moors Valley Country Park, Dorset (January 14–February 26, 2017); Stockwood Discovery Centre, Luton, Bedfordshire (January 21–March 26, 2017); Gracefield Arts Centre, Dumfries (March 8– April 15, 2017) and Nunnington Hall, North Yorkshire (May 13–July 9, 2017).
