‘crafts­man­ship. Decorex is a won­der­ful melt­ing pot of ideas, tech­niques and cham­pi­oning It’s a priv­i­lege to be cu­rat­ing the en­trance ex­hi­bi­tion with the V&A and the Sir Frederick Parker Col­lec­tion. I’ll be look­ing out for the Sir John Soane’s Mu­seum ex­hibit (B21), a fab­u­lous range of ideas from my favourite Re­gency de­signer. I will also be vis­it­ing David Har­ber (B47), whose work I ad­mire greatly, and, as a gar­den-sculp­ture de­signer, has the same fas­ci­na­tion with his­tory as my­self. The Rug Com­pany (C34) is a com­pany I’ve col­lab­o­rated with for more than 20 years
