Where’s the fox?
IENJOYED your feature about hunting (November 2), but surely there’s something missing here? There isn’t a single sentence that spells ‘fox’. What is the point of writing about hounds, hunt servants, vets and our lovely landscape without giving some space to that wonderful creature, which delights and infuriates whole cross-sections of our society?
I have never ridden to hounds, but think it’s a wonderful thing that thousands of people do. You have nothing to fear from showing the red claws of Nature—sir David Attenborough has made rather a good living out of it! Jeremy Fraser, Suffolk
