The QEST starts for tal­ented crafts­men

The dead­line is loom­ing for would-be schol­ars to ap­ply to the Queen El­iz­a­beth Schol­ar­ship Trust (QEST), the coun­try’s lead­ing crafts char­ity, sup­ported by the Royal War­rant Hold­ers As­so­ci­a­tion as well as The Queen, who is Pa­tron, and Vis­count Lin­ley, who holds the po­si­tion of Vice-pa­tron.

Since its foun­da­tion in 1990, the Trust has awarded some £3 mil­lion to more than 400 crafts­peo­ple, aged be­tween 17 and 58, for study, train­ing and work ex­pe­ri­ence.
