The QEST starts for talented craftsmen
The deadline is looming for would-be scholars to apply to the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (QEST), the country’s leading crafts charity, supported by the Royal Warrant Holders Association as well as The Queen, who is Patron, and Viscount Linley, who holds the position of Vice-patron.
Since its foundation in 1990, the Trust has awarded some £3 million to more than 400 craftspeople, aged between 17 and 58, for study, training and work experience. Applicants have until January 19 to apply for a scholarship worth up to £18,000. Visit www. qest.org.uk for further information.
