Good week for… endurance
On December 15, Harry Wentworth-stanley of the Savills London Development Land Team departed on the expedition of a lifetime—the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge. He and three friends are currently halfway across the vast ocean, attempting the mammoth row from Le Gomera in the Canary Islands to Antigua, to raise money for the James Wentworth-stanley Memorial Fund, which aims to tackle anxiety, depression and suicide among young people.
The 3,000-mile voyage is widely considered to be one of the toughest challenges there is—more people have climbed Everest, reached the North Pole or ventured into space than have successfully rowed the Atlantic. To donate, visit www.rowforjames.com
