It’s no accident

Country Life Every Week - - Letters To The Editor -

THE recent spate of accidental collisions between HGVS and bridges highlights both the need for the compulsory use of appropriate commercial satnav by such vehicles and the need for penalties for drivers who ignore advisory road signs. Such collisions are not accidental, but the result of incompetent, careless and totally inappropriate driving and the punishment should, at the very least, involve an immediate disqualification and retest. Laurence Grainger, Stirlingshire
