The song that started Beatlemania

Country Life Every Week - - Town & Country -

In a pivotal moment 50 years ago, The Beatles recorded All you need is Love for the first time at the Abbey Road studio. It was a live BBC broadcast—in fact, the world’s first live, international, satellite TV production—and it reached more than 400 million people worldwide.

One photographer, David Magnus, was granted exclusive access and some of his rare, behind-the-scenes shots have never been published, until now. A new show, ‘The Beatles Unseen’, featuring this remarkable collection of images from 1967, opens tomorrow at Proud Chelsea, 161, King’s Road, London SW3, and runs until May 14.
