A COUNTRY LIFE a day keeps the doctor away
IN common with Kit Hesketh-harvey (My Week, March 29), I too have been felled by something horrid this week. I always look forward to coming home after work on a Wednesday, secure in the knowledge that my copy of COUNTRY LIFE should be waiting for me, but this week, stuck at home with my virus, I was allowed the time to enjoy the full content—i read it from cover to cover and it really was the very best medicine. Please take it from a nurse of more than 30 years’ experience that it worked wonders in keeping my spirits up.
I am now on the mend and I hope Mr Hesketh-harvey and his village are, too. Tracy Rutter, Warwickshire
