he richness and diversity of life in Britain are to be celebrated with the British Life Photography Awards, now open for entry. Images from winners and commended entrants will be included in an exhibition at the Royal Albert hall, London SW7, from early January 2018 and published in an accompanying book. The prize fund is £15,000
Tand the overall winner will receive £7,000 in Sony products.
Judges include Michael Pritchard, director general of the Royal Photographic Society, and Country Life Picture editor Lucy Ford and the 10 categories are Rural Life, Street Life, Portraiture, Urban Life, Life at Work, Brits on holiday, British Weather, historic Britain, Documentary Series and Young British Life Photographer. entries close on September 2 (www.blpawards.com).
