RE­SEARCH is un­der way to record Humphry Rep­ton’s land­scape de­signs to com­mem­o­rate his death in 1818. His name is linked to some 14 sites in Hert­ford­shire and the Hert­ford­shire Gar­dens Trust is com­pil­ing a book. It there­fore hopes to trace his miss­ing Red Books for Lamer Park, Wheathamp­stead; Wall Hall, Alden­ham; Wy­d­dial Hall, Bunt­ing­ford; Brook­mans Park, North Mymms; Or­gan Hall, Radlett; and The East In­dia Col­lege (now Hai­ley­bury Col­lege), Hert­ford.
