IFEAR that Ru­pert Uloth stands to be dis­ap­pointed in his hope that so in­spi­ra­tional a fig­ure as for­mer Eton school­mas­ter Michael Kid­son might sur­vive ‘in to­day’s more reg­u­lated ed­u­ca­tional cli­mate’ (Books, June 14).
