A cowboy, a Christian and a gentleman

Country Life Every Week - - Letters To The Editor -

IREAD with interest the article about the typescript proof of From Cowboy to Pulpit Being Reminiscences from my Life (Art Market, May 17), the reason being that I have a first edition of this book. Also, the Rev Sir Genille CaveBrowne-cave’s niece was a dear friend of my late mother. As a young chorister in the 1920s, she often recalled listening to very inspiring sermons by the reverend gentleman. They remained close friends and committed Christians to the end of their lives. Andrew Hancock, East Yorkshire
