The Friends of Friend­less Churches is on the look­out for a new di­rec­tor. the Lon­don-based char­ity, which saves his­toric churches and chapels through­out eng­land and Wales from de­mo­li­tion, decay or in­ap­pro­pri­ate con­ver­sion, cur­rently owns 50 churches open to the pub­lic.

After 24 years, Matthew Saun­ders is set to re­tire and the trustees are seek­ing an in­di­vid­ual to de­velop the char­ity even fur­ther. the salary for this full-time role is de­pen­dant on qual­i­fi­ca­tions and ex­pe­ri­ence and the ap­pli­ca­tion dead­line is oc­to­ber 24.
