VISIT THE CL PAVILIONS AT BURGHLEY
Held in the parklands of Burghley House in Stamford, Lincolnshire, Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials is one of Britain’s
most prestigious sporting events. This year starts with the elegant dressage competition in the main arena on Thursday and Friday. Saturday offers the adrenalin high of cross country, around the challenging course designed by Captain Mark Phillips, building up to the jumping climax of the competition on Sunday.
With something for everyone, the retail village will promote more than 600 trade stands, selling everything from handmade cheeses, artisan breads and rare-breed meats to fine jewellery, fashion and equestrian equipment.
Country Living is hosting two pavilions again this year, both celebrating rural crafts. The CL Makers’ Marquee showcases unique items by small businesses, while the CL Pavilion on Avenue A will have more than 40 exhibitors offering the best in British art, craft and design.
