Mid-Somerset Show

Country Smallholding - - Show Guide 2018 -

Sunday, August 19

A special invitation goes out to smallholders in the West Country to enter this traditional one- day agricultural show.

This year sees the introduction of new cattle classes including Devons, Herefords and British Blues plus Limousin and Charolais. More information is available in the schedule.

Our popular sheep classes will be returning with a large variety of breed classes and, in the pig section, we have introduced a ‘First Time Exhibitors’ class, giving those that have never shown before the ideal opportunity to have a go.

The main ring this year will see the introduction of heavy horses both in harness and being ridden in addition to our traditional in hand showing classes.

With no admittance charge (car parking charges do apply) the show offers a great day out for all the family at a very affordable price, and the 2018 show is promising to be busy and fun packed.
