I have gor­geous mem­o­ries of a glo­ri­ously sunny day, wan­der­ing around Oban, eat­ing the fresh­est fish I’ve ever tasted. The two places that stand out vividly are Ee-Usk for a pot of steam­ing chow­der and that view across the bay, and the other was the place in this photo where a guy was cook­ing up a huge pan of oniony, gar­licky creamy mus­sels on the quay.
