Poppies for every reader

Country Walking Magazine (UK) - - The View -

Poppies’ scarlet flowers, as fine as tissue paper, attract bees, birds and butterflies and add a bright splash of colour to gardens, wildflower meadows and verges. We’ve teamed up with the Woodland Trust, who use poppies to enrich their sites with pollinators and in their First World War centenary woods, to offer every reader a free pack of corn poppy seeds. Plant them this autumn they’ll give you a long summer of carefree colour. Not a gardener? Not a problem – poppies are easy to plant, hardy and maintenance-free. They self-seed too so you’ll enjoy their return year after year.
