Hurley Lock has a lovely café hut and campsite on an island. Also very close to splendid pubs – Rising Sun and Olde Bell. You could walk from Marlow to Henley and then catch the boat back, or vice versa! Kate Colbrook It’s all great! Love walking around Ibstone and Turville, and visiting the Turville Heath Barn No Car Café. Amy Robinson The great thing about Henley is that within minutes of leaving the hustle and bustle of the town centre, you are in tranquil countryside. Look out for lots of river birds including Cormorants and Great Crested Grebes. You will almost certainly see Red Kites and perhaps Buzzards too. In Henley, I love the Chocolate Café – for its hot chocolate and chocolate cake! Check out the Five Horseshoes at Maidensgrove too, for the stunning rural setting and fabulous food.
