‘I FEEL WONDERFUL!’
Chris Stanley, 51, Wednesbury I changed my job to a more physical one to help overcome depression and social anxiety – now I’m a postie! I love my daily walks at work and love my weekends and holidays in the hills. I feel wonderful and motivated and in eight months I’ve lost two stone and four inches around my waist. It’s so inspiring to be part of the #walk1000miles Facebook group and see so many people achieving so much despite their individual situations. Even a few extra steps a day is a victory over those who don’t walk at all. The first steps out of the door are really hard but the benefits to your mind and body are really worth the challenge!
