Country Walking Magazine (UK) - - #walk1000miles Update -

Julie Adams, 46, London At the start of this challenge it was hard just stepping out the front door – I’m a sufferer of PTSD and depression and normally lock myself in my room. But each new day I’ve managed to get out more and now I’m back at work and walking all the time. This challenge gave me something to work towards. I’ve gone from no walking to walking hundreds of miles! This challenge really helped me get my life back on track. Now I feel so much better. I feel happy when I walk and my joints are benefiting too. My depression and anxiety have reduced and I also sleep better too. So much just by walking! And I feel part of an amazing walking family. My daughter loves walking too now. I recently asked her what she wanted to do for her birthday and she replied “Can we go for a long walk?”
