I’m al­ways in­trigued to find sig­nif­i­cant land­scape fea­tures that, in the three mil­len­nia of humans nam­ing stuff, haven’t been named. The re­cent­ly­named tarn on page 9 is an ex­am­ple, as is this beach just west of Prawle Point, near Gam­mon Head. Se­cluded cove, wind­ing path, beach the bronze of Cal­i­for­nian skin; no name. Baf­fling.
