Most in­su­la­tors ula­tors con­sist of a heat-re­ten­tive eten­tive fill­ing that sits its be­tween two o sheets of breath­able e fab­ric. The fill­ing is usu­ally ually ei­ther nat­u­ral (i.e e feath­ers, usu­ally y from goose or duck – in n this case it’s goose) or ra a syn­thetic al­ter­na­tive. The fill­ing doesn’t usu­ally re­spond well to rain, but in the past st few years there have e been ma­jor ef­forts s to cre­ate down prod­ucts cts that re­tain warmth even if they are wet.
