Morning world

Your welcome in June ended:

“Life is short, and we should make the most if it; love matters more than anything, and we should never forget it”.

It was pertinent to read on the first anniversary of my schoolfriend of 50 years’ passing. Jackie battled cancer for 12 years. Every morning she awoke to another precious day and the fact she could walk, she’d take a photo of a stunning view, post it on her Facebook page with the phrase ‘Morning World’. It became her catchphrase so much so that her eulogy started with it and it’s the epitaph on her headstone. We should be grateful for every chance to say ‘Morning World’. Ele Sutton, Email
