Man caught dealing drugs while on bail jailed for four years
THIS is the face of a Coventry drug dealer caught with a haul of heroin while on bail for another offence.
As well as being on bail for a driving offence, Anthony Bromley was also subject to a suspended prison sentence for assault when he was caught driving while banned.
A search of the car in Warwick revealed “a whole range of class A drugs paraphernalia”, 87 £10 wraps of heroin, phones and a notebook with a drug-related entry in it.
Bromley, 37, of Hewitt Avenue, Radford, pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, possessing heroin and crack cocaine, and possessing heroin with intent to supply.
He was jailed last week for four years and two months – consecutive to seven months of the suspended sentence which he was also ordered to serve.
Prosecutor Peter Arnold had told Warwick Crown Court: “He has a very persistent criminal record, with many, many offences of driving while disqualified, and this is his third for dangerous driving.”
