Coventry Telegraph Business Awards 2017 We’re Mad for 2017 Business Awards!
EXPLOSIONS, rockets and goo are among the everyday products used by one Coventry and Warwickshire organisation hoping to grab the attention of judges at our prestigious Business Awards.
Mad Science aims to make science fun and accessible for children and families offering after-school programmes, holiday clubs, in-class workshops and birthday parties.
It has been nominated for THREE categories at the Coventry Telegraph Business Awards – the Not-for-Profit Award, which recognises those organisations who make a significant contribution to the local community; Contribution to the Community Award, for the organisation which demonstrates dedication to corporate, social and eth- ical responsibility; and Excellence in Science & Technology Award, recognising scientific advancement and innovation.
Launched in the West Midlands in 2006, Mad Science and has been operating worldwide for 30 years.
The organisation has told how it has continued to invest in research and development to ensure they are at the forefront of their industry.
By creating hands-on science programmes they hope to inspire children to pursue STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) careers in the future.
Mad Science Regional Manager Jasmine Hanlon said: “We are very excited to be nominated for three categories at Coventry Telegraph Business Awards. We hope that our investments in research and development and innovative programmes to inspire youngsters and families will inspire the judges.”
