Museum sacrificed for technology

Coventry Telegraph - - YOUR VIEWS -

ONCE again, Coventry City Council has shown that it cares little for heritage.

The Electric Museum at Baginton, which has put together a special collection of electric trains, has been forced out by the council which seems to consider technology as more important.

This collection will now be scattered at other locations and will be a great loss, especially when the council is making a song and dance about applying to become UK City of Culture.

What is next on the council’s list for exile? Michael Smith Wyken
