MPs accuse Davis

BREXIT Secretary David Davis has been accused of misleading Parliament after yesterday admitting the Government has made no formal assessment of the likely impact of EU withdrawal.

He told Parliament last December his department was “carrying out about 57 sets of analyses” on different parts of the economy. A Labour member of the Brexit committee, Seema Malhotra, described the failure to make assessments as “a dereliction of duty”.
