Two women from London stole from city centre store

45, of Cheveral Avenue, Radford, admitted stealing art-related products and other items in Waterstone­s worth a total of £183. He was ordered to pay £90 compensati­on and ordered to pay £40 court costs.

42, of George Street, Foleshill, admitted stealing a bank card and cash worth £1,200. She was ordered to pay £960 compensati­on and a £80 court costs. 26, of Harnall Lane West, Hillfields, admitted stealing baby food and pet food from Sainsbury’s, stealing baby milk powders worth £80 from Sainsbury’s, possession of cocaine, having a retractabl­e craft knife in a public place and committing an offence while subject to a suspended sentence for eight counts of theft. He was sent to prison for a 24 weeks plus six months and ordered to pay a £140 victim surcharge.

37, of no fixed address, admitted stealing a till and contents worth £300 as a trespasser at British Heart Foundation. He was sent to prison for 12 weeks and ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge.

41, of Albany Road, Earlsdon, admitted entering Costa Coffee as a trespasser with intent to steal, four counts of breaching a criminal behaviour order by entering part of Coventry city centre, stealing £450 cash from La Beaute as a trespasser and stealing meat worth £5 from Spar. He was sent to prison for 16 weeks, handed a new criminal behaviour order and ordered to pay £115.
