PRICEY MOISTURISERS
A STUDY carried out for the BBC’s The Truth About Looking Good programme, found expensive anti-ageing creams made no more difference to skin than the cheaper ones. In fact a £1.60 moisturiser from Nivea was one of the most effective.
TOBY YOUNG
THE controversial journalist this week stepped down from the board of a new university regulator, saying he had become a ‘distraction’ from its ‘vital work’. He had previously had to apologise for comments he made in the past about working class students and gay people.

IT wasn’t all good news for M&S this week, the store was ridiculed for selling sliced cauliflower, in plastic packaging with a lemon and herb garnish, for twice the price of a regular cauliflower.
