Eurostar staff strike
EUROSTAR station and train staff are to stage a fresh strike in a dispute over working conditions.
Members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport union based at St Pancras station in London, as well as train managers, will walk out for 48 hours from September 30. The union said St Pancras has been reduced to “chaos” after a spate of problems, leaving staff to bear the brunt of passenger anger.
Eurostar said it ran a normal service during previous industrial action by station staff.
