NOVEM­BER 10, 1977: Boxer Wil­lie Stack at­tends Leam­ing­ton ABA train­ing. The Olympic boxer won the ABA mid­dleweight cham­pi­onship in 1964 and a few months later headed for Tokyo, where he fought Emil Schulz, who went on to claim the sil­ver medal. He went on to train Ed­die Burke, who won the ABA mid­dleweight ti­tle in 1976, and was a reg­is­tered ABA coach into his 70s. He passed away in 2013.
