We’re looking for volunteers to keep The Coffee Shop at Coventry Myton Hospice running smoothly!

The Coffee Shop is open Monday to Friday 10am – 4pm serving a selection of hot drinks and snacks. All of the profits from the Coffee Shop go towards funding patient care.

We asked Wendy, who has been volunteering at The Coffee Shop since it opened two years ago, to tell us more about the role:

“I wanted to volunteer with Myton anyway and the coffee shop was about to open. I’ve worked in coffee shops before and I like working with people so the role combined everything.

“The most rewarding thing is talking to patients and relatives. Quite a few of them open up to you.”

Visit www.mytonhospice.org/ volunteering to find out more and apply.
