How to stitch the rein­deer nap­kins

Fold your fab­ric in half, then half again to find the cen­tre. Use the ar­rows to find the cen­tre of the chart, then start stitch­ing the de­sign in the cen­tre of the fab­ric and from the cen­tre of the chart. Make sure you leave enough fab­ric so that you can make the nap­kin with the de­sign in the bot­tom cor­ner. Fol­low the chart.

Once you have fin­ished stitch­ing, press the fab­ric us­ing a cool iron, then trim it to mea­sure 42 x 42cm (16½ x 16½in).

Press un­der a 0.5cm (¼in) hem around all four edges of the li­nen square. Press un­der a fur­ther 0.5cm (¼in) hem around all four edges and ma­chine stitch in place.
