Branching out

Cross Stitch Crazy - - Designfinder -

I’m ready to try stitching on something other than aida or evenweave. I’m sure I saw kits where the design was printed on the fabric... Kaylee Farnham, Chard You’re right, Kaylee, you can get kits where the design is printed onto the fabric. You work your stitches by piercing this close-weave cotton fabric, rather than pushing your needle up and down through obvious holes as you would when stitching on aida. I love the Geometry Rules range designed by Rachel Parker for DMC, which is perfect for beginners to this technique. The design pictured here, Pixel Nation (TB113), features a pattern of triangles in an array of cool colours. It measures 13x19cm (5x7½in) and is worked on cotton fabric. You can buy it for £10.99 when you visit www.deb or by calling 01253 771 230. I hope this helps!
