I picked up a copy of issue 238 – and not just because I was featured on the Stitch and chat page! I like the metallic threads that came with my copy of Crazy, especially the rose gold. They reminded me of a stitch I did for a work colleague who retired last year to spend more time with his family (read: play with his model railways). It’s in the style of an old train station sign with his name as the station. He would have a long surname, wouldn’t he? It’s just Anchor 303 on black 18-count aida, but it’s quite effective. As an added bonus, the surrounding stitches are reminiscent of train tracks!
