I just wanted to share my latest finish with you. I was taught to stitch over 20 years ago by a family friend who turned 60 recently, so I used charts from past issues of Crazy to create a special gift for her. She’s now a quilter, so I combined the two crafts before framing the finished piece. This is the first time I’ve combined aida with another fabric, and I’m really pleased with the result! My kids wanted to get in the picture as well when I was taking it. My two boys love stitching and both are working on their own projects – a few stitches at a time! I hope you like it, Crazy team. Lorna Smith, Hampshire Alison says: You put a lot of thought into this gift, Lorna. It’s a fitting present for the woman who gave you your love of stitching! And now you’re sharing that passion with your little boys. It’s so inspiring when stitching is handed down through the generations like this. Great job!
