DIY Wireless Boombox

Custom PC - - CONTENTS -

The DIY Wireless Boombox is a very simple Wi-Fi speaker kit that, when assembled, presents you with a functional but uninspiring Wi-Fi or USBoperated stereo speaker in a cardboard case. The simplicity of the kit means it’s a little too rudimentary to challenge somebody who can handle taking a PC to pieces and putting it back together.

The manual is clear, the components are few, there’s no ambiguity about each part’s purpose and no tools or adhesives are required. It works reasonably well as an introduction to basic electrical tinkering, but it’s very basic – with enough supervision, a child could probably handle this build without starting too many fires.
