2hr inc. hillclimb intervals
I did a steady hour to start off with, just to get the legs ticking over, then attacked some climbs near Matlock, each one between two and four minutes. The course for the National Hill-climb Champs is around four minutes long, so I try to find hills local to me that are similar in gradient and distance. This session didn’t go as well as Tuesday’s, as I couldn’t get my heart rate up to where I wanted it. For the rest of the day, I tried to keep off my feet to get as much recovery for the weekend as possible.
