‘Unbelievable no one hurt’ – car crashes into old shop
THIS WAS the scene after a car crashed into an empty shop in Mountain Ash.
The car ended up embedded in the front of the unit on Bailey Street at around 11.30pm last Wednesday.
Rhiannon-Kate Miles, who lives nearby, said: “I was there about 10 minutes after on my way home so thankfully I missed the actual event.
“I was in utter shock, as were the kebab shop owners next door.
“It’s unbelievable that it missed the kebab shop and that no one was hurt.”
The car had to be removed from the scene by a tow truck.
A South Wales Police spokeswoman said: “We were called at about 11.30pm.
“A 22-year-old man was arrested and has been charged with driving without due care and attention, driving other than in accordance with a licence, drink driving and no insurance.
