Ty­lorstown won the Most En­ter­tain­ing Stage Pre­sen­ta­tion. Robin Hack­ett, of Ebbw Val­ley, was the Best Soloist. The best cor­net player on the day was Sara J Wall­bridge, of Wan­tage Sil­ver.

The Best So­prano Player was Ian Roberts, of City of Cardiff. Ll­wyd­coed had the Best Horn Sec­tion. Fil­ton had the Best Per­cus­sion Sec­tion. The Youngest In­stru­men­tal­ist was Tom Hoof, of Jack­field, aged 12 years.

Wan­tage Sil­ver has been in­vited to com­pete at the 2018 Spring Fes­ti­val Se­nior Tro­phy Black­pool.
