Wood’s taking Plaid to the left

Cynon Valley - - YOUR VIEWS -

DESPITE political electoral evidence, plus calls from the Westminster group leader and Jonathan Edwards MP, Leanne Wood continues to take Plaid Cymru on her journey to the orbital left.

It’s now time for our leading members to act.

Llanelli and Cwm Cynon constituencies are in a mess. No doubt, Cardiff will now start to fail because of AM Neil McEvoy’s proposed expulsion. Neil beat Leanne on the Plaid members’ first constitutional vote for the South Wales Central regional list nomination. He is obviously considered a threat.

In 18 months (his suspension period) the nominations process for the next assembly elections will have closed.

Unless Plaid Cymru wake up, remove our “me, me” leader, the party is only going to continue to decline.

When Leanne states she would like a contest for the Plaid leadership, she should request to be included in the Guinness Book of Records. To those members who were taken in by this statement... “duck, you suckers!”

My concern, if Plaid fail to steer a new Wales first course, going back to a political broad church, this will result in the same fate as the Titanic. Cllr Clayton Jones Plaid Cymru Community Councillor Ynysybwl & Coed y Cwm Council
