Round of applause for ladies football
AS a male, born in the 1950s, I’ve never really understood or accepted the concept of a Welsh ladies football international team.
I’d never previously watched a ladies’ competitive football match.
On Friday night I found myself very motivated watching our Welsh ladies play exceptional well with great skill against an English side ranked second in the world. The draw was a great tribute to all involved.
The level of commitment from our Welsh team was outstanding. I even missed part of the Cardiff versus Wolves game to focus on watching this match.
Well done to all involved in building the ladies football game in Wales. For sure, I shall be enthusiastically supporting our team in future. Clayton Jones Ynysybwl
