All you need is four lucky numbers between 1 and 24. Tickets cost £1, and you must be 16+ to enter. The draw takes place Fridays at Cynon Valley Indoor Bowls Centre in Mountain Ash.
Anyone who is interested in joining the Rowan Tree Singers. We are a mixed choir that meets every Wednesday from 7pm to 9pm at Providence Baptist Church, Union Street, Mountain Ash.
You do not have to be a cancer patient or client to join.
You do not have to have the ability to read music. Any age welcome – please contact the centre for more information.
If anyone has any unwanted clothing and/or toys we would appreciate donations to our charity shops in Mountain Ash and Pontypridd.
We can also arrange for our charity van to pick up any donations on a Tuesday or a Friday – please contact the office on 01443 479 369 for further information about this.
Donations of good quality clothing, bridal wear, evening wear and occasional wear, books, electrical items or any other unwanted items will also all be gratefully received at the Rowan Tree Charity Shops.
We are looking for people to help us in reception, shop work and driving our clients back and forth from their cancer-related hospital appointments.
Drivers are urgently needed in the Rhondda area. If you are able to help please telephone the centre on 01443 479369.
We are also looking for volunteers in the role of befrienders visiting clients at their home one hour per week.
