MARKUS SINGS OUT FOR A GOOD CAUSE

WEST­LIFE star Markus Fee­hily, left, will play his first gig as a solo artist at next week’s Sound For Sight Con­cert in Lon­don. Sound For Sight is the brain­child of Laura West­cott, who came up with the con­cept af­ter her friend de­vel­oped the sight- loss con­di­tion re­tini­tis pig­men­tosa. Tak­ing place in con­junc­tion with the RNIB and World Sight Day au­di­ence mem­bers will also be pro­vided with sight- loss sim­u­la­tor glasses to en­hance their ex­pe­ri­ence.

Along with Markus, 35, who left West­life in 2012, there will be per­for­mances from co­me­dian Mark Wat­son and Bri­tain’s Got Tal­ent win­ner Paul Potts among oth­ers. The event is on Thurs­day Oc­to­ber 8 at The Taber­na­cle in Not­ting Hill. Doors open at 7pm for a 7.15 start. Tick­ets are avail­able at seet­ick­ets.com
