What a splasher...Jamie names baby River Rocket
JAMES Trevor Oliver obviously has a thing about conventional names. And so, it seems, does his wife Juliette.
Better known as Jamie and Jools, the celebrity chef and his wife have named their new-born fifth child, a boy, River Rocket.
He joins siblings Poppy Honey Rosie, 14, Daisy Boo Pamela, 13, Petal Blossom Rainbow, seven, and Buddy Bear Maurice, five.
“Beyond happy” Jamie and Jools posted pictures online including one of 8lb River in his father’s arms, attracting 150,000 likes from fans.
The snaps also displayed the words “Dream Big River” in bright colours, accompanied by an “emoji” symbol of a rocket. The couple have yet to officially confirm River’s name but did not dispute it in ensuing comments.
Their two eldest daughters, Poppy Honey Rosie and Daisy Boo Pamela, cut the umbilical cord as Jools gave birth at London’s Portland hospital this month. Jamie, 41, wrote on Facebook: “It was a natural birth and my two eldest girls got to come in at the very end as the baby was born – which was amazing to witness. Very, very emotional.”
TV’s Naked Chef has previously insisted River Rocket will be their last child.
