Time Out plans London food market

MEDIA group Time Out confirmed it was in advanced talks to bring its popular food market to London as it looks to expand after its junior stock market flotation.

Time Out Market is set to launch in the capital next, as well as in Porto in Portugal, building on the success of its food markets business in Lisbon, which attracted 1.3 million visitors in the first half of the year.

It posted its first results since listing on the Aim in June, with higher group revenues for the six months to June 30. Its underlying half-year loss was £4.4million against losses of £5.6million a year earlier.
