Face the facts, McDonnell, Labour lost the election

THE people who answer calls to march of this kind are the usual professional protestors and probably very few of them actually went out and voted (“Anger at Tory march call”, June 16).

Because the fact is the Tories achieved 2.4 per cent more votes and 56 more seats than Labour.

Only in the Marxist twilight world of John McDonnell and Jeremy Corbyn can that be seen as a win and on that basis what good would a march do?

So don’t talk wet and get a grip, John and Jezza. Other than the rent-a-mob you will only get about three men and a dog turning up. Barrie Warren,
